Who is James Oglethorpe.

He is the man that founded Georgia

made the Oglethorpe  Plan

as well as joined the army of Prince Eugene of Savoy

also  allied the Yamacraw

and tried to arrange for slavery to be banned in Georgia

tried to get England worthy poor to be sent to Georgia

established the first masonic lodge in Georgia

fought in the War of  Jenkins Ear

made himself a home just outside of Fort Frederica

and returned to London in 1743.

That is James Oglethorpe.
